ABC Sitcom Pilot Fan Review Jen writes, "She is honestly, the most friendly person i have ever met. She signed the picture of me, her and my cousin for me, and addressed it to ME!! wooot....i will not post it on here, cuz its mine! PSHH. haha...it was so fun being at a taping of the show....i was in the 2nd row!!! she was really funny, and a really great actress. she impressed me. I loved the show, obviously, im biased, but i would still love the show if it were a different person playing her part. it would be a great show even without her, but she makes it all the better, with her ditzy jokes and all. my fave part was her donut eating. haha WOOT. anyways, the new show is called JESSICA. everyone watch when it comes out on tv, not sure when, but probably when they try out all the new shows to see if they can continue making episodes. After the video shoot, she stayed and sung 'With You' acapella, and 'Amazing Grace' it gave me chills, i was speechless and all goosebumpy...no i couldnt get any pictures cuz the studio was afraid for any bootlegging of the show, so yeah...that sucks, its all in my brain though. i can replay anytime i want. hehe. it was SO MUCH FUN. way worth the trip to L.A. in traffic. Jessica Simpson Sues Auto-Racing Company Source: Associated Press NEW YORK - Jessica Simpson (news) wants her money for splashing a New Jersey auto-racing company's logo across her chest. The Smoking Gun Web site reports "The Newlyweds" star agreed to wear a shirt by Motorock in the video for her song "With You" as a paid product placement negotiated last year by her New York marketing team. Simpson shot the video and wore the shirt but says she never got paid. She is suing the company for breach of contract. Simpson claims she's owed $140,000 for wearing the shirt and for agreeing to a performance at the Grand Prix of Puerto Rico, which ended up being canceled. The owner of the company Simpson is suing has declined comment, saying he hasn't seen the lawsuit. |

Jessica Simpson Rocks Wilmington
(April 2, 2004) - She's one of the biggest names to walk onto the Azalea concert stage. Jessica Simpson's concert was one of the most anticipated events of this festival.
David Gridley is a cook at the Naked King Fish restaurant. He says, "This is the exact same thing that is going out to her." He prepared some of Simpson's favorite dishes to share with a select group before the show. "I just called my mom, I had to let her know, gotta let momma know...she said do a good job...don't screw it up." 93.3 listener Karen Hodge won two of those backstage passes. "I am very excited," She says "I just want to see her, I just want to take a picture with her." She and nine others were taken to a special room before the show. They got autographs and photos with Jessica. But the festival prepared a little surprise for Simpson. 4-year-old Wilker Ballentine sang for her. (read more) |

NC Concert Fan Review Alicia writes, "I'm back! I like...just got off the plane lol. It was AWESOME! This was my fourth time seeing Jess in concert and this was by the far the best ever. Even though she forgot the words to almost every song, she sang the best i've ever heard her sing! I can't remember the correct order of songs but the ones I remember her singing are: Take My Breath Away, Angels, With You, I Wanna Love You Forever, When You Told Me You Loved Me, Irresistible, I Have Loved You, and I think she sang I Think I'm In Love. I think* those were all of them. Angels was AWESOME!!! And so was IWLYF! She was hittin the highest note and like fell to her knees and just belted it out! It was so incredible! In the middle of the show she did an unscripted Q&A session with the audience. Casey ran around the floor picking out people that got to ask Jess questions. One little girl was SOOO cute! She gave Jess a little journal and told her she could right her songs in it and jess tore a page out to give the girl an autograph, and jess was like 'What's your name?' and the girl was like 'Alden' and jess was like 'huh?' and the girl was like 'ALDEN!!' She was so cute...she was like maybe 5yrs old or so, im not sure and jess was like 'how do you spell that?' and the girl was like 'A-L-D-E-N!!!' Like jess should know how to spell it lol it was so cute! And then Casey picked three guys out of the audience to do a dance off to see who jess would sing IWLYF to and omg that was the funniest thing i've ever seen!! This older man like...40s or 50s got up there and worked it!! The other two guys were like younger college kids adn this old man was SOOOOO funny! He was doin some like MC Hammer dance stuff and everyone was crackin up! He won! And Jess sang to him, it was real cute! Jess thanked her fans a whole bunch and thanked everyone for her sucess and she seemed like she really enjoyed the concert and being there and it was really great!! Best Ever! I got about 4 rolls of pics, I wasn't that close, but they should be decent, I'll post some when I get them developed...not sure when that will be cuz I spent every dime I have on my flight and the concert tickets and hotel lol!" |
